The space at Learning Circle Preschool consists of three sunny and spacious classrooms, a welcome room and reading area, a whole school science and investigation area and a spacious playground, with many natural elements.

Children from any program may elect Enrichment Program options, either every week or more occasionally. Each enrichment program includes a focused activity and topic. For example, Monday’s focus is on the visual arts, Tuesday includes story telling and drama, Wednesday’s focus is science and mathematics, Thursday’s focus is on music and creative movement, and Friday’s focus includes literacy-building activities.

Extended Day options are also available for all children. Early arrival begins at 7:30 a.m. and the afternoon can extend as late as 4:30.

The Welcome area houses the school library with a reading area, a message center for parents and cubbies for the children’s belongings.

The whole school science area has materials and tools for scientific investigation.

Older preschool children and kindergarteners use the Goldfinch room.

The Nuthatch room is used by the Pre-K class as well as Monday’s Art Enrichment Program and afternoon Extended Day.

Our youngest children use the Chickadee room. The Early Arrival program also uses the Chickadee Room, as do Enrichment Programs on Tuesday-Friday.

The outdoor space features a spacious playground and expansive areas for exploration of the natural environment. Please see the Facilities page for more information.
