The organization of Learning Circle Preschool uses a collaborative model with staff and families working together on behalf of the children. The school is organized as a not-for-profit, 501 (c)3 tax exempt corporation. The Board of Directors is comprised primarily of current families and includes two teachers and a community representative. All meetings and projects are open to the full parent community. Each current family is considered a member of the organization and, although specific work requirements are not required, participation is encouraged. There is one mandatory open board meeting each April, which all families must attend.
