Board Meeting 7:30 – 9 pm (zoom) Discussion at 8:15: Program Options at LCP and Thinking about Kindergarten

This is the time of year that families are deciding about their child’s programming for next year. What are the differences between each of our classrooms and what considerations are part of a good placement? Will my child be well prepared for kindergarten? Join a discussion about the transition to kindergarten and about our preschool programs as well. What are some of the components of a high-quality kindergarten program? What are some considerations in determining each child’s “readiness” for kindergarten? This discussion will try to address general questions parents raise about the kindergarten year, as well as share specific information all our programs and the curriculum at Learning Circle Preschool.

The formal Board meeting begins at 7:30pm; discussion begins at 8:15 pm.
